Lawrenceburg's Morton Officially Signs With Miami (Oh.)

The Tigers' star offensive lineman verbally committed to Miami (Oh.) in May.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Just a one-year starter, Jason Morton has turned himself into an All-State offensive tackle and a Division I athlete. 

High school football stars across the nation signed their letters of intent Wednesday during National Signing Day. 

Morton was one of those stars, signing to continue his academic and athletic career at the University of Miami (Oh.). 

Standing 6'8" and 300 pounds, Morton anchoring a Lawrenceburg offensive line that paved the way for 3,002 rushing yards. For his efforts, Morton was named to the All-EIAC 3A Division Team and to the IFCA Class 3A Senior All-State Team. 

Morton is one of 24 players committed to Miami. Their 2020 class is ranked 4th in the MAC, according to 24/7 Sports
