(Bright, Ind.) - It was a tremendous senior season for Jack Hutchins.
The Bright native and former East Central Trojan baseball star was named this week as a First Team All-Conference performer in the Ohio Athletic Conference.
Hutchins, a pitcher, finished the season with an OAC-best 1.73 ERA and tied for second in the conference in wins with an 8-2 record.
He tossed 72.2 innings over 13 appearances for Ohio Northern. Hutchins racked up 65 strikeouts, which ranked fifth in the OAC.
In four years at Ohio Northern, Hutchins has a career 4.25 ERA.
