EIAC Basketball Teams Honored for Excellence in the Classroom

The HBCA have announced their Team Honors Court for 2021-22.

INDIANAPOLIS - Five area high school basketball teams have been recognized for excellence in the classroom. 

The Hoosier Basketball Coaches Association has named their Team Honors Court for the 2021-22 season. 

East Central, Lawrenceburg, and Franklin County are among 23 teams recognized on the Boys Team Honors Court. East Central made the list for the fifth consecutive year, while Lawrenceburg has earned back-to-back Honors Court selections. 

The HBCA Girls Honors Court features Batesville and Lawrenceburg. Batesville has made the list three years in a row. 

To make the Honor Court, entire sectional rosters had to have an average GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
