EC's Mayer Breaks Single Season Goal Record, Schloss Hits 50 Career Shutouts

The Lady Trojans will host Franklin Central in a regional semifinal this evening.

(St. Leon, Ind.) - Two East Central High School soccer stars are being celebrated for putting up incredible numbers.

Junior forward Maria Mayer recently scored her 29th goal, breaking the school record for most goals in a single season.

Mayer enters this evening’s regional semifinal with 30 goals.

In goal, senior Rylee Schloss has reached a career milestone with 50 career shutouts.

The Lady Trojans hope to keep their season alive this evening when they host Franklin Central in a Class 3A Regional Semifinal. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.

The winner will play #3 Carmel or Brownsburg on Saturday at Carmel.
