EC Swimmers Highlight EIAC All-Conf. Team; Strotman, Murray, Bley are MVPs

(St. Leon, Ind.) – Fifteen East Central High School swimmers highlight the 2023-24 EIAC All-Conference Team.

East Central captured the team conference championship in both boys and girls swimming.

Trojans making the All-Conference Team include Michael Doll, Nick Hutchinson, Connor Murray, Kennedy Shuler, Ace Snook, Brady Stevenson, Henry Strotman, Brogan Wilson, Jillian Bley, Audrey Bumgardner, Bree Cleary, Isabella Dole, Ele Jankovsky, Riley Reany, and Ella Maxwell.

The All-Conference Team was rounded out by Jacob Hawkins (Greensburg), Tristen Hostetler (Greensburg), Christopher Mans (Greensburg), Kaelynn Martin (Connersville), Ambria Clark (Connersville), Harley Morris (Connersville), and Lilly Corya (Greensburg).

East Central’s Connor Murray and Henry Strotman were named the 2023-24 EIAC Boys Swimming MVPs.

Murry was the conference champion in the 100 Back and 200 Free, while Strotman won the 50 Free and 100 Free events. Both were a part of EC's winning 200 Medley Relay team. 

The EIAC Girls Swimming MVPs are East Central’s Jillian Bley and Connersville’s Kaelynn Martin.

Bley won individual conference championships in the 200 Free and 500 Free, and was a member of EC's winning 200 Free Relay team. 

Brandon Loveless, of East Central, is the Coach of the Year.
