(St. Leon, Ind.) – Things change.
When Lexi Watkins was in 7th grade, she verbally committed to play soccer at Indiana University. That was four years ago.
Last week, Watkins took to Twitter to announce her decision to play college soccer at Ball State University.
Watkins is a two-time EIAC All-Conference selection. She was the conference’s Offensive MVP during her freshman season in 2020-21 when she scored 15 goals and assisted on seven more.
Last season, Watkins assisted on 22 goals and scored nine times herself.
Aside from starring for East Central, Watkins plays club soccer for the Indiana Fire Academy U19 ECNL. She was also a member of the ODP National Team in 2020.
