East Central Swim Team's Weber First At Indiana Swimming Championships

The AquaTrojans club team participated in the Indiana Swimming Senior Short Course Championships.

(Indianapolis, Ind.) - The East Central Swim Team AquaTrojans had amazing performances at the 2019 Indiana Swimming Age Group and Senior Short Course Championships this month.

The meets were held at the Indiana University Natatorium on the campus of IUPUI.

Nick Weber took first in the boys 50 freestyle. His time of 21.35 seconds broke a record that stood since 2007.

“ECST swimmers and parents are so proud and excited for him. He is truly an amazing swimmer. Congratulation Nick!” the team announcement stated.

The AquaTrojans had two relays qualify for state as well. They included the women’s 15 & up 200 medley relay team of Mackenzie Schantz, Olivia Nixon, Kyra Hall and Jordan Marro. Also, the boys 13-14 200 Medley Relay team of Nick Weber, Frank Strotman, Luke Jackson and Kaden Cummins.
