INDIANAPOLIS - The East Central Trojans football team again graced the field at Lucas Oil Stadium last Sunday.

They were there with the five other 2023 IHSAA Football State Champions for a special halftime show during the Indianapolis Colts regular season finale against the Houston Texans.

East Central was joined by Indianapolis Lutheran (1A), Fort Wayne Bishop Luers (2A), Indianapolis Chatard (3A), Fort Wayne Snider (5A), and Ben Davis (6A), as each team got a chance to run out on the field in front of the Colts faithful.

The Trojans defeated NorthWood 42-14 in the Class 4A Championship on November 25, capping off the second perfect season in program history.
