East Central HS Named Among Indiana's Top Schools for Athletes

The list was compiled by USA Today.

(St. Leon, Ind.) - USA Today has named their Top 25 best Indiana high schools for athletes.

East Central High School made the list, ranking 12th overall.  

The list was compiled based on the number of state championships, student participation in athletics, and the number of sports offered at each school and data from the U.S. Department of Education. 

The top school on the list is Indianapolis Cathedral. See the full list at The 25 best high schools for athletes in Indiana. 

In other East Central High School news, the Trojans' football team ranks 15th on Indiana Prep's Not So Early Top 25 for the 2025 season.
