Firefighters had to extricate the crash victim from the wreckage.

(Ripley County, Ind.) – A woman was hospitalized after a crash on U.S. 50 in Ripley County Wednesday.
The Ripley County Sheriff’s Office says a 2006 Pontiac G6 ran off the highway near the intersection with County Road 600 West. The vehicle then struck a concrete post and came to a rest on its side.
First responders extricated the driver, Sherry Demoss, 47, of Osgood, from the wrecked vehicle. She was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Indiana State Police, Indiana State Excise Police, Rescue 69, Holton Fire Department, and Versailles Fire Department assisted at the scene.
