Wind Advisory For New Year's Eve

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Some strong winds will blow away 2018 on New Year’s Eve.

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory starting at 3:00 p.m. Monday until 2:00 a.m. Tuesday.

Winds will blow consistently between 15 and 30 MPH, with gusts as strong as 50 MPH. Meteorologists say that scattered fallen trees and branches, as well as power outages, are possible.

Monday’s high will reach into the 60s, but temperatures will drop into the 30s and 40s the rest of the week as a cold front moves in.
