How many people in Eagle Country agree?

(Undated) – There are three certainties in life, death, taxes and complaining about traffic.

According to a new report from personal finance website WalletHub, traveling around the tri-state area might not be as bad as meets the eye.

Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky all ranked in the top 13 on WalletHub’s 2019 Best & Worst States To Drive In list.

WalletHub compared all 50 states across 30 key indicators of a positive commute, including average gas prices to share of rush-hour traffic congestion to road quality.

Indiana ranked the highest at third overall. The Hoosier state ranked in the top five for lowest auto maintenance costs. According to the report, Indiana also received high marks for having low insurance rates and good quality roads.

Ohio ranked 10th overall due to low insurance costs, infrastructure and parking access.

Kentucky came in at 13th overall, primarily because of low costs for drivers. Their safety ranking was also in the upper half of states at 20th overall.
