Veteran Wants Stolen Power Chair Returned

(Versailles, Ind.) - A disabled Vietnam veteran is trying to recover his stolen wheelchair.

Ronald Ross is a 78-year-old Versailles resident who says he lent his blue HoverRound power chair to a friend a couple months ago.

When that friend passed away on September 24, Ross went to retrieve the chair. However, the friend’s family told him the chair had been stolen from their home on South County Road 250 West near Versailles.

Ross estimates the value of the chair at $10,000.

He is offering a reward for information leading to the chair’s return. Call (812) 621-8139 if you have information that can help.
