Versailles Trooper Recognized By Mothers Against Drunk Driving

Several other officers from Southern Indiana were recognized.

(Versailles, Ind.) - According to The National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration, nearly 30 people die every day across the United State in drunk driving crashes.  

Trooper Jayme Herbert, Indiana State Police – Versailles District was recognized by Mothers Against Drunk Driving (M.A.D.D.) for excellence in getting drunk drivers off Indiana’s roads.  

Trp. Herbert, a seven-year ISP veteran, lead the Versailles District in DUI arrests from 2016-2019. 

Despite moving to dayshift in 2020 he finished second in the district for DUI arrests. 

Trooper Herbert is also a Standardized Field Sobriety Test Instructor and a Certified Drug Recognition Expert.
