Versailles Firefighters Rescue Injured Mountain Biker

The biker was involved in an accident on Saturday.

(Versailles, Ind.) - Firefighters were called to a mountain biking accident on Saturday at Versailles State Park. 

The accident took place on one of the secluded mountain bike trails at the park. 

Versailles Firefighters were on scene assisting with a rescue. Responders worked for over two hours to locate and rescue the patient. 

The name of the rider and the extent of their injuries was not disclosed. 

Versailles Fire Rescue were assisted at the scene by Ripley County EMS, Indiana Conservation Officers and Versailles State Park staff.
