UPDATE: Power Restored In Lawrenceburg

Power had been out for large parts of Lawrenceburg since around 11:40 a.m.

Per the City of Lawrenceburg:

All electric power should be restored at this time. If you electric power through LMU is not operating, please call 812-532-3500.

(Lawrenceburg,Ind.) - A power outage has been reported in Lawrenceburg. 

The outage is ongoing throughout large areas of the city. 

All traffic lights are reportedly out along U.S. 50. 

The City of Lawrenceburg released the following statement:

"Please have patience as emergency crews respond and assess conditions. We will release more information as it becomes available."
