UPDATE: Missing Batesville Man Found

A Silver Alert for a Batesville man has been cancelled.

 

Ned E. Martindale, 84, was reported missing to Batesville Police after he was last seen early Sunday morning, November 27. The alert said Martindale may have been in danger.

 

The Silver Alert was cancelled by Batesville Police on Sunday evening just before 10:00 p.m. after he was found.

 

Police did not say where Martindale was or why he had gone missing.

(Batesville, Ind.) - A Silver Alert has been issued for an elderly Batesville man reported missing Sunday.

 

The Batesville Police Department is investigating the disappearance of 84-year-old Ned E. Martindale.

 

Martindale is described as a white male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 190 lbs, with balding gray hair and hazel eyes.

 

He was last seen at 1:00 a.m. Sunday, November 27 in Batesville Indiana, and is believed to be in danger. Police believe that Martindale may be wearing blue jeans, a white sweat shirt and a single ring on each hand. He may be disoriented and require medical attention.

 

Martindale is believed to be driving a white 2010 four door Jeep Patriot with Indiana plate 525AHA.
