United Way Distributes Over $110K To Local Non-Profits

The funding will be used to cover services such as shelter, rent, food assistance, education, technology and healthcare needs. 

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Eight southeastern Indiana organizations are receiving funding from United Way of Greater Cincinnati Southeast Indiana. 

Over $110,000 in COVID-19 Regional Response Funds is being distributed to New Horizions Rehabilitation, Dearborn County Clearinghouse, SIEOC, YES Home, Safe Passage, Inc., Salvation Army, Rising Sun-Ohio County Schools and Highpoint Health. 

The funding will be used to cover services such as shelter, rent, food assistance, education, technology and healthcare needs. 

A UWGC Southeast Indiana spokesperson released the following statement:

"UWGC Southeast Indiana is thankful to our local non-profits for the assistance they are providing to individuals and families to help them overcome the challenges being faced due to COVID-19."
