Investigators believe the motive was related to the family drug dealing business.
(Elsmere, Ky.) – Two northern Kentucky men are facing up to 50 years in prison in a double-murder case.
Charles Elmer Eapmon, 54, along with James Allen Eapmon, were indicted in December and charged with two counts of murder and one count of tampering with evidence, reports FOX19-NOW.
They are accused of murdering Carolyn Ann Tomlinson and Charles Douglas Eapmon at their home on Merravay Drive in April of 2016.
Investigators say Charles Elmer Eapmon confessed to killing the couple. It’s believed the motive was related to the family drug dealing business.
Eapmon is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
As for James Eapmon, he is awaiting extradition to Kentucky to stand trial. He is currently serving a life sentence in Arizona for trafficking meth.
