(Covington, Ky.) – Sentencing has been handed down for two men connected to the 2018 death of a Covington woman.
On Monday, Kenneth M. Jones was sentenced to 25 years in prison in Kenton County Court for his role in the death of Denita M. Satchwell, reports FOX-19.
Satchwell, 58, went missing on June 9, 2018. Her body was found days later in a wooded area near Rabbit Hash.
After her body was recovered, Jones and two others were taken into custody. Jones would be charged with murder, robbery and tampering with evidence. According to court documents, Jones had targeted Satchwell, his cousin, in effort to take her pain medication. She was in the late stages of cancer at the time of her death.
Dakota Webster was also sentenced on Monday for his role in Satchwell's murder. Webster received 12 years behind bars.
