Two Juveniles Accused Of Making Threats Toward Erlanger School

The freshman students have been charged with Terroristic Threatening.

(Erlanger, Ky.) – Two juveniles are accused of making threats toward their school.

Boone County Sheriff’s deputies say the freshman students made threats Monday to shoot up Ignite Academy on Atlantic Avenue in Erlanger.

Deputies interviewed one of the students and his parents at a home in Taylor Mill. The student admitted to making the threat but said he was joking.

Simultaneously, deputies interviewed the other student involved at his home in Hebron. Deputies say the student showed a Snapchat post that he sent to other students stating, “don’t come to school tomorrow,” which was accompanied by a green gun emoji and a dynamite emoji.

Both students are charged with Terroristic Threatening (Class D Felony).
