Teen Accused Of Shooting BB At School Bus

(Burlington, Ky.) - A 14-year-old student already suspended from school is in even more trouble after he allegedly fired a BB gun at a school bus in Burlington.

The Boone County Schools bus was letting students off on Damson Drive at Dorado Court at about 3:00 Thursday afternoon. That’s when one of the bus’ windows was hit by a BB pellet.

Deputies investigated and soon apprehended a 14-year-old suspect. He is charged with Wanton Endangerment First Degree.

The boy was taken to the Campbell County Juvenile Detention Center. The eighth grader was already on suspension from Conner Middle School.

No one was injured in the incident.  School officials had another bus respond to the scene and transport the students to their homes.
