Sunman Rural Fire Department Set for Annual 9/11 Walk

(Sunman, Ind.) - On September 11, 2001, over 2,000 Americans fell victim to terrorist attacks in New York, Washington, DC, and Pennsylvania. 

On that day, 343 firefighters gave their lives in attempt to save others. 

In remembrance of these lives lost, members of the Sunman Rural Fire Department will be walking 3.43 miles in full turnout gear on Thursday, September 11 starting at 6:00 p.m.

This event will be open to the public. Those who would like to join the walk are asked to meet at the Sunman Firehouse around 5:30.
