Sunman Man Injured in Motorcycle Crash

The incident took place Saturday evening in Milan.

(Milan, Ind.) – A Sunman man was injured in a motorcycle crash on Saturday evening.

Ripley County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the crash on State Road 350 in front of the American Legion in Milan around 8:00 p.m.

Deputies say Jerry Ryan, 71, was eastbound on State Road 350 when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into the back of a vehicle making a left turn into the American Legion parking lot.

Ryan was airlifted to UC Medical Center with unknown injuries.

Ripley County Sheriff’s deputies were assisted at the scene by Milan Fire, Ripley County EMS, and Aurora EMS.
