(Sparta, Ind.) – Work on State Road 350 will move west later this week.

According to Indiana Department of Transportation: Southeast, State Road 350 will close just west of Rummel Road in Spart on or after Wednesday, July 17.

This section of State Road 350 is expected to remain closed for up to one week, weather permitting.

Once the closure moves near Sparta, State Road 350 will reopen between the east and west Old State Road 350 and State Road 350 intersections.

The official detour follows U.S. 50 to State Road 101.

The drainage, guardrail and pavement project started in early June with work expecting to take up to eight weeks total.
