(Greendale, Ind.) – Local residents have an unique opportunity to honor loved ones affected by cancer.
St. Elizabeth Healthcare welcomes the community including patients, families, St. Elizabeth associates and anyone touched by cancer, to become a permanent part of the new Dearborn Cancer Center in Greendale.
All may sign a wrap that will be placed around the final beam of the new state-of-the-art Cancer Center at the Dearborn County Home and Garden Show.
The show will run Friday, February 3 through Sunday, February 5 at the Lawrenceburg Event Center.
“This is another exciting step in our commitment at St. Elizabeth to lead the communities we serve to become among the healthiest in the nation,” says Angela Roberts, Site Administrator of St. Elizabeth Dearborn. “We invite anyone who has been touched by cancer to be a part of our future by signing the final beam of this state-of-the-art facility.”
The three-story, 66-thousand-foot facility will provide better access for patients outside of northern Kentucky to receive cancer screenings, prevention and treatment including on-site radiation oncology for a broad range of cancers.
A groundbreaking for the facility on Flossie Drive took place last May.
