Competitors hit the slopes from 10 AM to noon.
(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Special Olympics Indiana's 44th annual Winter Games are underway at Perfect North Slopes.
The three-day event will conclude today as hundreds of athletes from across the state will take part in three sports: alpine skiing, snowboarding and snoeshoeing.
Competitors will hit the slopes from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Awards will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
“The Winter Games are a unique experience for our athletes, and these three days renew Special Olympics Indiana’s commitment to offer sports training and competition opportunities year-round,” Special Olympics Indiana President and CEO Jeff Mohler said.

- Putnam County
- Ripley-Ohio-Dearborn County
