Show choirs from Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia will compete.

(Aurora, Ind.) – Twenty-two show choirs from Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia will converge at South Dearborn High School today and tomorrow.

South Dearborn will host the 20th annual Opening Knight Showcase.

Middle school show choirs will compete tonight starting at 7:00 p.m. South Dearborn Middle School Showcase is scheduled to hit the stage around 9:30.

On Saturday, high school show choirs will compete starting at 8:00 a.m. Per the tradition, host groups do not compete at their own competition, but both South Dearborn Showcase and Opening Knight plan to give exciting performances at their hometown event.

Opening Knight is scheduled to perform at 6:30 on Saturday.

Admission is $10 for Friday night. Saturday prices are $15 for daytime or an all-day pass for $20. Those attending only to see Opening Knight may purchase a $5 ticket.

The event serves as a fundraiser for the AWARD WINNING show choir program at South Dearborn.  Concessions will be available all day and many vendors will be in attendance throughout the event.
