(Dearborn County, Ind.) - A South Dearborn High School junior has been named to the Truth Initiative National Youth Council.

Arissa Riley, Dearborn County Youth Ambassador and VOICE Indiana leader, will join teens from across the country to gain valuable leadership and advocacy skills.

Riley, along with other teens, will attend Truth Initiative meetings, workshops, and trainings to teach skills from current tobacco abuse problems in their communities to any social or political issue that a teen may feel passionate about. All members will hold a Virtual Action Summit to bring the  resources gained to their community and schools.

“I was proud to nominate Arissa, she is a multi-tasker who never loses focus on the main objective. She will be a valuable asset to Truth just as she is a valuable asset to us here in Dearborn County,” says Amy Rose Youth Coordinator for CASA and VOICE Dearborn County.
