The wreck happened Sunday near Batesville.

(Franklin County, Ind.) – A driver fell asleep at the wheel before his pickup truck ran off of Interstate 74 Sunday, November 18.
Duane H. Moody, 55, of Danville, Indiana, was driving eastbound on I-74 near the 147.5 mile marker near the Batesville exit around 12:38 p.m. when his pickup truck went off the north side of the roadway. Moody overcorrected, causing his truck to cross both eastbound lanes and then off the south side of the highway. The truck rolled onto an embankment before coming to a rest on its side.
Moody told deputies he had fallen asleep while driving and awakened when his vehicle began to run off the highway.
He was transported to Margaret Mary Health in Batesville by Batesville EMS for treatment of injuries.
Batesville Police and Batesville Fire Department assisted at the crash scene.
