Serious Crash In Greendale Turns Fatal

The accident happened Tuesday night on U.S. 50 near Oberting Road.

(Greendale, Ind.) - A serious crash that happened earlier this week on U.S. 50 in Greendale has turned out to be fatal. 

Greendale Police say they responded to the two-vehicle accident in the area of westbound U.S. 50 and Oberting Road, near the railroad underpass around 8:53 p.m. on Tuesday. 

Both drivers, who remain unidentified, were injured in the crash and were transported to Highpoint Health. 

One driver was pronounced deceased at the hospital. No further information was released regarding the condition of the second driver. 

Greendale Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
