(Dearborn County, Ind.)  - Secretary of State Diego Morales completes the second week of visiting several counties to hand deliver election improvement grants.  Today he will be making stops in the following counties: Dearborn, Franklin, Fayette, Wayne, Randolph, and Delaware Counties. In addition to today’s stops, Secretary Morales also visited Hamilton, Tipton, and Howard Counties earlier in the week.

More than 60 Indiana counties will be receiving Federal Help America Vote Act grant dollars to go towards local election improvement and security efforts. Statewide grants are valued at approximately 2 million dollars.

Since the start of the year, Secretary Morales has delivered grant checks to nearly 30 counties.

“I believe, when it comes to running smooth and safe elections, each county knows what they need best.  At each visit, I am so proud to hand deliver this grant money to the receiving county.  Each dollar makes a difference, and this funding is only going to make our Hoosier state stronger,” said Indiana Secretary of State Diego Morales.
