UPDATE: I-75 Crash Victim On Life Support

The victim that was initially listed as deceased on the Hamilton County Coroner's media list is being kept on life support until her organs can be harvested.

Update: According to Florence Police Captain Greg Rehkamp, Kathleen Kincaid is being kept alive on life support despite being listed deceased on the Hamilton County Coroner's media list this morning.  

FOX19-NOW reports that Kincaid is an organ donor and that she is being kept on a ventilator until her organs can be harvested. 

 

(Florence, Ky.) – Another person has died as result of a multi-vehicle crash in northern Kentucky.

Florence Police responded to the accident on Interstate 75 southbound on Monday around 8:35 a.m. The collision involved a tractor-trailer, a utility pickup truck and a passenger vehicle.

Investigators say the utility pickup and the passenger vehicle had stopped on the right shoulder of the road after the two vehicles were involved in a minor traffic collision. The tractor-trailer would strike both vehicles and two of the vehicles’ occupants who were standing outside the vehicles.

Joshua A. Jones, 34, of Mason, Ohio was pronounced dead at the scene.

A second victim, Kathleen Kincaid, 17, of West Chester, Ohio was airlifted to UC Medical Center. Kincaid passed away from injuries sustained on Tuesday, according to the Hamilton County Coroner's Office. 

A third person was transported to UC Medical Center and is currently in serious but stable condition.

The Florence Police Accident Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate the collision.
