(Ohio County, Ind.) – Two people were able to walk away from a rollover accident in Ohio County.

Sheriff’s deputies were called to the single-vehicle accident on the 6300 block of Nelson Road around 10:20 a.m. Thursday.

Deputies say Robert L. Marksberry, of Florence, Indiana, was traveling eastbound on Nelson Road when his 1993 Ford Ranger started to slide. He was unable to regain control and the truck rolled three times before coming to a rest on its top.

Marksberry and his passenger, Julienne Strickling, of Vevay, were uninjured in the crash. Marksberry believes he and his passenger were uninjured due to wearing seat belts.

Deputies believe the primary cause of the crash was traveling too fast for slippery road conditions.
