Record Low Temperature Recorded at CVG

The previous record low for August 27 was 50 degrees.

(Hebron, Ky.) - A new record low temperature was recorded this morning at Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport. 

According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, the low this morning at CVG was 49 degrees, marking a new record for August 27. 

The previous record low of 50 degrees was set in 1945. 

Unseasonably cool temperatures will continue the rest of this week with daytime highs in the mid-to-upper 70's and lows in the 50's.
