(Batesville, Ind.) – One of Safe Passage’s biggest fundraising events of the year takes place this weekend.
The 10th annual “We Help, We Heal, We Hope” event will be held on Saturday at Walhill Farms in Batesville. The event is sold out, but community members will have an opportunity to support the nonprofit organization through an online auction featuring 62 items.
Saturday’s event celebrates 25 years of providing free, comprehensive, and confidential support to domestic and sexual abuse survivors and their children in the six-county district.
For those unable to attend, the online auction can be found at https://one.bidpal.net/wehelpwehealwehope/welcome. Items up for bid include experiences, shopping and spa parties, trips, home and holiday décor, sports and gift certificate packages.

“We are so inspired by the willingness of the guests, and the communities in general who support our work. Safe Passage leaders and the board are grateful to our wonderful sponsors, a record number this year. Not one business turned us down for an auction item; we have over 100 auction donors. Our table hosts help fill the venue, and the 39 table decorators make the event barn a visual delight,” said Mary Mattingly, Community Outreach Director.
Last year, Safe Passage served 1,300 individuals through the toll-free number, shelter, or nonresidential programming.
Proceeds from the fundraiser allows Safe Passage to continue providing help, healing and hope to domestic and sexual violence survivors.
