(Cleves, Oh.) – A new restaurant is coming to Cleves.

Roy Rogers restaurant will open on February 27 at 151 Cooper Avenue near Taylor High School.

Rogers, a Cincinnati-born actor and cowboy, founded the franchise in 1968. His restaurants are known for serving fried chicken, roast beef sandwiches and a quarter-pound burger, known as the “Double R Burger”.

The Cleves restaurant is part of a 10-unit restaurant deal with local franchise group One Holland Corporation.

“Remember those days when you walked into Roy Rogers and the aroma of fresh burgers and fries filled the air? 🤤That's what we're bringing back to Cleves, Ohio with our delicious menu of signature burgers, roast beef, and crispy chicken. We're thrilled to be a part of the community and can't wait to welcome you to our restaurant soon! Stay tuned for updates and get ready to relive those nostalgic moments of the past,” reads a statement on the Roy Rogers Facebook page.

The Cleves opening is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on February 27. The first 50 guests will receive free Roy Rogers for a year.

A group of Taylor High School students will be recognized with scholarships prior to opening.
