(Versailles, Ind.) – Lee Davidson has held many titles over the past 20 years.
Last week, Davidson added a title to his resume when he was announced as Chief Deputy by Ripley County Sheriff Rob Bradley.
Davidson, a Ripley County native and Milan High School graduate (2000) started as a jail officer in 2001 and quickly moved into Ripley County Communications as a dispatcher. From there, he served as a Special Deputy, Reserve Deputy, and ambulance driver.
He left Ripley County in 2004 to join the U.S. Air Force as an Airborne Battle Manager. His military career spanned nearly 20 years before he returned to Indiana in 2020, where he restarted his career with the Sheriff's Office as a full-time Merit Deputy.
“I’m looking forward to many years working with Lee to benefit Ripley County,” said Sheriff Bradley.
