(Ripley County, Ind.) - Ripley County Commissioners have cut funding for one of the county’s ambulance services.

The Osgood Journal reports commissioners made the unanimous decision to cut funding for the fourth quarter of 2018 after learning that Rescue 69 was in breach of its contract.

Rescue 69 did not have the required certification for 80 of those 92 days.

Instead of the full $26,998 in funding, Rescue 69 was only paid about $3,500 for the 12 days it was in not in breach of the contract.
