The City of Lawrenceburg is applying for grant funding through OCRA.
(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The City of Lawrenceburg is applying for grant funding through the Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) for an Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation program.
This program would fund improvements to owner-occupied homes within the city limits.
Under the program, homeowners could be awarded up to $15,000 to make improvements such as: roof replacement, ADA accessibility up to the threshold of the home (handicap ramp), HVAC replacement, electrical upgrades, and water heater replacement.

The application to OCRA will be submitted on August 16, 2024.
A public hearing regarding the program will take place Monday, August 12 at 11:00 a.m. at the City Administration Building.
