Residents Asked to Take Survey Regarding Owner-Occupied Rehab Program

The City of Lawrenceburg is applying for grant funding through OCRA.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The City of Lawrenceburg is applying for grant funding through the Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) for an Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation program.

This program would fund improvements to owner-occupied homes within the city limits.

Under the program, homeowners could be awarded up to $15,000 to make improvements such as: roof replacement, ADA accessibility up to the threshold of the home (handicap ramp), HVAC replacement, electrical upgrades, and water heater replacement.

Residents are asked to fill out a survey to gain input for the need for this program. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/LburgOOR

The application to OCRA will be submitted on August 16, 2024.

A public hearing regarding the program will take place Monday, August 12 at 11:00 a.m. at the City Administration Building.
