The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that the former Erlanger Shwocase Cinema site is getting a $50 million investment from developer Al. Neyer.

(Erlanger, Ky.) - The former site of the Showcase Cinemas in Erlanger has a big coming attraction.
The former cinemas along Interstate 75 at the I-275 interchange in Erlanger were demolished in 2015. The cinemas initially closed in 2008.
The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that the 135-acre site is getting a $50 million investment from Cincinnati-based developer Al. Neyer. Titled the Erlanger Commerce Center, it is the largest project in the company’s history.
Executives told the newspaper that the project is already receiving good interest from prospective tenants.
“It’s difficult to find an industrial opportunity in our region that offers this much developable land and outstanding proximity,” Dan Ruh, Al. Neyer’s executive vice president, said last September when the project was first announced. “This position offers tremendous access to the region’s most-traveled interstates, and the regional airport, which will be home to Amazon’s centralized air hub.”
The plans call for two new commercial buildings. The first warehouse building is more than 779,000 square feet. It is already under construction and due to be completed in December 2018.
