Marty Brennaman has been broadcasting Cincinnati Reds baseball for nearly five decades, but Thursday's home game will be his last on the mic.

(Cincinnati, Oh.) -- Cincinnati Reds fans are preparing for Marty Brennaman's last day on the air.
Brennaman will call his final game at Great American Ball Park Thursday, ending 46 years as the Reds' play-by-play announcer.
The first 20,000 fans at the game will receive a transistor radio so they can listen to Brennaman's final call and he'll be honored on the field with a Marty Party after the final out.
The veteran announcer talked to reporters Tuesday about his long run in the Reds' broadcast booth, saying he would not miss baseball in retirement, but would miss his media colleagues.
