(Florence, Ky.) - Publix has officially opened their 10th store in Kentucky.
The grocer held a grand opening at their Florence Commons location along U.S. 42 this week, making it the latest Publix to open in northern Kentucky.
"We are thrilled to open our third location in Northern Kentucky and 10th in the state,” said Publix Media Relations Manager Jared Glover. “As we continue our expansion in Kentucky, we’re proud to bring Publix's premier service, fresh offerings and shopping experience to more communities across the state.”
Publix entered Kentucky in January 2024 with their first store in Louisville. In less than three years, Publix has opened 10 stores and have announced plans for 16 additional locations.
More northern Kentucky locations are in the works in Independence, Hebron, and where Alexandria Pike meets the AA Highway.
