Public Invited to Benefit for Local Man Battling Cancer

(Friendship, Ind.) - An upcoming benefit will support the family of a local man battling Stage 4 lung cancer. 

Terry Chapman's Battle Benefit will take place on April 1 at Hudson's Old Mill Campground (Hudson Hall), 7249 First Street in Friendship. 

Chapman was diagnosed with lung cancer in January. His friends and family are coming together to put on the benefit to help offset any expenses during his battle. 

The benefit will include food and drinks, a cornhole tournament, raffle, silent auction, live music and karaoke. 

The event schedule is as follows: 

  • Food, silent auction, raffle begins at 11:00 a.m. (ends at 4:00)
  • Cornhole tournament signups from noon to 1:00 p.m. (admission $10 per person)
  • Tournament starts at 1:30 p.m.
  • Music and karaoke follows the ending of the silent auction and raffle
