(Harrison, Oh.) - Despite multiple snow events and tough winter weather, construction continues to move forward on the new splash pad at the Harrison Community Center.

Aerial drone shots released by the City of Harrison shows the progress that has been made.

It was announced last August that the new splash pad would open in summer 2026. The splash pad will be located between the existing playground and the shelter, where many concerts and events are held.

Aside from the splash pad, 10 new parking spaces will be installed, along with updated landscaping, and a new path connecting the shelter directly to restrooms.

The project stems from a survey in 2023. More than 800 residents ranked a splash pad high on the list of desired amenities.
