UPDATE: Power Restored In Florence, Vevay Areas

There is no ETA for when power will be restored.

Update published at 3:19 p.m.: 

Southeastern Indiana REMC says power has been restored in the Florence and Vevay areas. 

However, power remains out at Belterra Casino. 

 

Original story published at 2:04 p.m.: 

(Vevay, Ind.) – A power outage has been reported in southeastern Indiana.

Southeastern Indiana REMC announced via Facebook that they have been experiencing an outage since around 11:00 a.m. Monday.

The outage is affecting the Florence and Vevay areas.

SEI REMC says Duke Energy lost the feeder to the Belterra substation, causing the outage.

There is no ETA for when power will be restored.
