UPDATE: Police Locate Driver After Hit and Run on Tanners Creek Drive

The incident took place on Monday afternoon.

Update published on Wednesday, June 25: 

The driver that fled from a property damage accident on Monday has been identified as a 55-year-old male from Dillsboro. His name was not released. 

Lawrenceburg Police say the drive that allegedly caused a crash on Tanners Creek Drive fled the scene towards Lowes. 

The driver was located and apprehended by an LPD K9 and transported to UC Medical Center to be treated for non-life-threatening wounds. 

Charges are pending.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Lawrenceburg Police responded to a property damage accident on Tanners Creek Drive on Monday around 5:34 p.m.

Prior to arrival, one of the drivers left the scene, prompting a search. 

LPD officers set up a perimeter and were able to locate the driver, whose identity was not released. 

According to Lawrenceburg Police, potential charges are possible. The incident remains under investigation.
