(Cincinnati, Oh.) - Holding a rally in Cincinnati, President Donald Trump claimed the U.S. has the hottest economy in the world.

“The era of economic surrender is over,” Trump told a cheering crowd filling the 17,000-plus seat U.S. Bank Arena Thursday night.

Trump boasted about pulling the U.S. out of the Paris climate change accord and noted that the U.S. is now the number one producer of oil and natural gas.  He said he has pulled the U.S. out of disastrous trade deals and is killing "job-killing" government regulations.  Trump defended his trade war with China and said some other world leaders are hoping former Vice President Joe Biden wins the presidency next year.

Trump again referred to Biden as "Sleepy Joe" and argued that he has "no clue what the hell he is doing."

The president also took aim at the Democratic Party, saying it has a record of "neglect, corruption and decay" in many cities that they govern.

“While Republicans are working everyday to build up our country, the rage-filled Democrat party is trying to tear America apart,” he said.

Meantime, Trump again accused Dems of supporting open borders.  He said Mexico has done more to curb illegal immigration than Democrats have.  Trump insisted that Democrats put foreign citizens ahead of American citizens.

Some protesters interrupted the rally and were shouted down by Trump supporters.

At least one arrest took place near the political rally. A 29-year-old Georgetown, Kentucky man was arrested and has been charged with assault after punching an anti-Trump protester. Video of the attack was obtained and published by the Cincinnati Enquirer.
