(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Ohio Valley Screen Printing (OVS) in Lawrenceburg is the place to go for area high school spirit wear.

OVS celebrated the grand opening of their Hometown Gear Spirit Shop on Friday.

Owner Scott Facemyre tells Eagle Country 99.3 that the Spirit Shop is something he has thought about since buying the business in 2018.

"I dabbled a little bit in it and saw a need for it in the community," said Facemyre. "I think every community needs some kind of support to help the schools and all the youth groups around. This is Tiger Country where we are here, but we are supporting all the schools in the county and even beyond this area of Indiana. There is a lot of push for it, and we've seen a lot of growth for it, and we needed more space to make it a better shopping experience for everybody."

Customers will find a variety of items such as letter jackets, hats, t-shirts, long sleeve shirts, hoodies, cups, and bleacher seats. While you will find East Central, Lawrenceburg, Milan, Rising Sun, and South Dearborn gear in store, Facemyre adds that OVS can custom make anything, whether its holiday Christmas shirts or family/vacation events or schools not listed above.

OVS continues to be a great community partner through charitable giving. There have been many instances where they have helped create t-shirts, etc. for fundraisers to help those in need, particularly families of students at area schools.

Facemyre says OVS will continue to lend a helping hand.

"In a community like ours, that's what we do. Small business we all support each other. To support a community like this is just a pleasure of ours," added Facemyre.

The OVS Hometown Gear Spirit Shop is offering specials the rest of Friday afternoon and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
