(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Lawrenceburg witnessed its first ever pride parade on Saturday.

The organizations Ohio River Valley Pride Coalition and Cincinnati-based Love Must Win Inc. partnered to put on the parade from the river levee to the Dearborn Adult Center.

A couple hundred adults and children came out to watch or participate.

Following the parade, a celebration was held at the adult center. Jessica Dimon, a regional drag queen known as Cincinnati’s “it girl”, led a drag show. National spoken word artist Angelle Peace and rapper Kim Belew also appeared.
